I just started reading your blog. I’m on chapter 3. I myself am 4 months post d-day and can highly relate with everything you’re saying. Thank you for your honesty. It’s refreshing, especially now.

I too, think my therapist just loves seeing me weekly….ha.

  2. Amy says:

    Ha!
I love this… like words cannot express.
I just finished getting all caught up on your adventure.

God is so wonderful and faithful.

Of course my story is different than yours, as they all are.

I’ve doubled your time, added two children 13 years apart, mixed-in a Whole Lot(!) more drama (I used to watch Jerry Springer to feel better because the only thing I knew for sure, besides being loved by God, was who my baby-daddy is!!)…
and now, I am stepping out into the world on my own for the very second time -only now with an 8 year old- and still every bit as ‘confused’ as to what to do as I was at 18 when I found myself 23 years later…

    here.

Wow. my how time flies when you’re….? I dunno.

    Anyway… 🙂
Just wanted to say thanks for putting it out there. It’s an interesting journey for sure.
I see parallels in the inward turmoil and questioning… the confidence in God… lots of things.
I know you’re somewhat further along in your journey than what you write here; and I’m glad to know you’ve survived!! 🙂

Plus… you Crack me up!! Your raw truth encourages and delights me. Thanks.
